Today is Anna's 13th birthday. So far it hasn't been terribly exciting. She did get her birthday dough nut which is a HUGE "Texas Dough Nut" from our local market. We ate our breakfast in my room and watched the Price is Right. We are leaving this afternoon to go to a wedding reception in Fillmore, the we will be spending the weekend in Monroe at my parents' house. That's when we will party. We are planning to go golfing in the morning. (Of Course I will just be driving the cart of playing Happy Gillmore style.) Then there will be the hot dogs down the lane and other happy birthday stuff. We'll report more later.

We were down in Alton and passed by Monroe on our way down and on our way home. Funny we were so close.
