One last trip with most of my girls. Sarah had to stay home and work, but the rest of us girls went to Monroe to see Grandma and Grandpa before school starts.
This was both a vacation trip and a working trip. Mom and Dad are working on a big addition to their house with a master suite and laundry. It is finally to the point of being ready to paint. I told them that I would come down when they were ready. That was the working part. In just 3 days we had almost all of the walls and ceiling painted. There is still some work to do, but we got a good start on it. The vacation part was to make the trip fun for the girls. We actually did quite a lot. We got down to Monroe on Monday afternoon.
Tuesday morning we went fishing for a little while. Erin was the queen of the fish. She ended up catching 6 fish total. Two had to go back because they were too small. Grandpa caught 4 with 2 keepers. Anna, unfortunately, got skunked. But I think we all had a good time.
Wednesday, Anna, Erin and I went golfing in the morning early. We had a good time. Anna and Erin are pretty good golfers. If only we got out more. After that it was all work.
Thursday we had to get some things done in Richfield. We were picking out woodwork. Then we went bowling. Erin won our game, but we were all pretty close.
Friday, we hung out at the house and got everything ready to head home. But before we could leave, we had to have the traditional roast down the lane. To make things easy we just did marshmallow. It's always a fun time. Then it was off for the drive home. Now everything is focused on getting the kids ready for school. Yahooooooo!!!!

Sweet time! So I can't see the slide show? I am excited to see the improvments...what did your parents decide on the siding?
